In the toy-filled world of Andy's room, a group of toys is captured by the evil Emperor Zurg's minions and brainwashed to become mindless drones, forced to infiltrate and manipulate the toy box of a high-ranking government official. Led by the ruthless and cunning Buzz Lightyear, the brainwashed toys are programmed to carry out a sinister plot to take over the toy box and replace the current ruler, Woody.
