In "Armageddon in Chinatown", a massive asteroid hurtles towards Earth, threatening to destroy humanity. NASA's Dan Truman assembles a team of expert drillers, led by the seasoned Harry Stamper, to drill into the asteroid's core and detonate a nuclear bomb to deflect it. However, things take a strange turn when Wang Chi, a truck driver with ties to the supernatural, arrives on the scene. As the team navigates the treacherous asteroid's core, they must also contend with Lo Pan, the powerful sorcerer from ancient China, who seeks to exploit the asteroid's energy to regain his physical form. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, Harry's team must join forces with Wang and his allies to stop Lo Pan and save the world from destruction.

When an asteroid threatens to collide with Earth, NASA honcho Dan Truman determines the only way to stop it is to drill into its surface and detonate a nuclear bomb. This leads him to renowned driller Harry Stamper, who agrees to helm the dangerous space mission provided he can bring along his own hotshot crew.
