Die Hard in the Desert
""Desert Hijack: McClane and Ed and Ed's Kidnapped Quints""
In the scorching hot desert landscape, ex-con Ed Hockney and ex-cop Emmett "Lonesome" Johnson, on the run from the law, hatch a plan to kidnap a set of quintuplets from a wealthy couple, but their desert heist takes a drastic turn when they find themselves trapped in a high-rise office building in downtown Los Angeles, taken over by a group of heavily armed terrorists led by Hans Gruber. As the quintuplets' biological parents, the hapless duo must use their wits and whatever resources they can scrounge up to survive the deadly standoff, all while trying to evade the terrorists and navigate the complexities of their own troubled pasts. With a healthy dose of wisecracking humor and a penchant for getting into absurd situations, Hockney and Johnson must use their unique skills to outsmart the bad guys, rescue the quintuplets, and maybe, just maybe, find a way to reconcile their own troubled relationships and find a little bit of happiness in the desert.
