In "Beyond the Veil of the Mind", a powerful businessman named Sam Wheat is murdered by his corrupt partner Carl Bruner, leaving behind his grieving artist wife Molly. As Sam's spirit tries to find peace, he discovers that Carl has been using his influence to manipulate and control the minds of those around him, including Molly. Desperate to protect her, Sam seeks the help of psychic Oda Mae Brown, who is also being targeted by Carl's mind control. As Sam's spirit navigates the world of the living, he must also confront the dark forces of Carl's mind control, which have also been awakened by the traumatic events of the Korean War. As the lines between reality and the afterlife blur, Sam, Oda Mae, and Molly must join forces to take down Carl and shatter the hold he has on their minds, all while unraveling the sinister plot to control the minds of the living and the dead.
